Maldon Pantomime Society (MaPS) as a Society was formed out of the Blackwater Players – an Amateur Dramatics group much like our friends at Maldon Drama Group are today.

The prime objective was, and still is to produce and perform only Pantomimes and did so initially at the Plume school for the first 6 years before moving to the newly built Maldon Town Hall. We have only missed two years since then, both due to the virus of which we don’t speak.
